ASIA MEDIA WRITES — Thanks to Loyola Marymount University Asia Media staff initiative, our video department is undergoing ambitious expansion. Please check out https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC187IodwIc6m8Yc0QBXyUfQ/about.
The video effort is being led by staffers Deng (‘Momokoo’) Yuchan and Epiphany K.Hulburd. Both exceptionally talented students are majoring in Film and Television Production in the highly ranked LMU FILM AND TELEVISION SCHOOL.
Explains Asia Media International founder and editor-in-chief Tom Plate: “Asia Media aims to become a robust multi-media platform. Thankfully, we have Momokoo and Epiphany to lead the artistic and technological charge in video. Their initial work on the Asia Media YouTube platform is witty and engaging. I do love it.”
In addition, our new Podcast Program is headed by Asia Media staffers Yi Ning Wong and Aashna Malpani. Their initial Podcast on the cultural dimension of K-Pop, only one click away in the upper right corner of this home page, is, says Plate, “superb – engaging and professional.”
Plate is clinical professor in the Department of Asian and Asian-American Studies, in the university’s Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts (BCLA), and a columnist with the South China Morning Post of Hong Kong.
