ASIA MEDIA WRITES — Hua Hsu, one of the hottest writers on the U.S. East Coast, is to discuss the issues and opportunities of writing about race and culture this Wednesday at 1pm on campus. The event is sponsored by LMU’s Journalism Dept. and the Asia Media Center (asiamedia.lmu.edu). The venue is the English Village, 3800 University Hall (on LMU’s west campus), and a generous lunch will be served. Prof Hsu is also the noted author of the book ‘Floating Chairman: Fantasy and Failure Across the Pacific’. This is a special opportunity for the LMU community. All are welcome.
