Last Sunday was a sad day for India as Bollywood Superstar Dev Anand passed away at the age of 88 from a heart attack. The film star and producer took his last breaths on December 3rd while in London for a medical exam.

This past weekend, a group of reporters at the Mathura das Mathus hospital in Jodhpur found themselves under attack by a group of approximately 25 people.       • ASIA MEDIA INTERNATIONAL is a student-driven publication of Loyola Marymount University’s Asia Media Center, under the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts and the Dept. of Asian and Asian American Studies — in alliance with the independent Pacific Century Institute, a non-profit 501(c) organization based in Los Angeles. LMU/AMI graduates often go on to prestigious graduate school, here and globally, such as the School of Advanced International Study (SAIS) in Washington, Sciences Po in France and the London School of Economics.
